Although browsing often feels easy, it places constant pressure on attention, working memory, judgment, and self-control. This paper examines the main mechanisms through which prolonged browsing produces cognitive fatigue. Rapid switching between unrelated posts breaks attention into short periods and makes stable focus harder to maintain. Large amounts of text, images, videos, and comments place pressure on working memory and lead to shallow processing. Unfinished thoughts and emotional reactions may remain active after users move to new content, creating cognitive residue. Browsing also requires many small decisions, including whether to watch, skip, like, share, or respond. These repeated choices may weaken judgment and make it harder to leave the platform. Emotional shifts, social comparison, negative content, and online conflict add further mental demands. Uncertain rewards and endless feeds encourage users to continue scrolling even after pleasure has declined and fatigue has appeared. The loss of natural stopping points also weakens time awareness and allows browsing to replace rest and sleep. The paper argues that cognitive fatigue develops through a cycle in which stimulation leads to overload, overload reduces self-control, and weaker control extends browsing. When people notice headache, chest tightness, stomach pain, rapid heartbeat, or other uncertain sensations, they may search online before deciding whether medical help is needed. In many cases, this behavior begins as reassurance seeking. Users want to know that the symptom is not serious and that they are still safe. However, online searching does not always reduce worry. For people with stronger health anxiety, search results may bring serious disease names, warning signs, patient stories, and conflicting explanations. These contents can make ordinary bodily sensations feel more threatening. This paper discusses how reassurance seeking in online symptom checking may turn into anxiety reinforcement. It focuses on catastrophic interpretation, confirmation bias, intolerance of uncertainty, body monitoring, and repeated checking. These data can support exercise planning, but they can also create pressure when users treat the numbers as fixed standards. This paper examines the psychological mechanisms of exercise anxiety triggered by fitness tracker data. It uses a theoretical approach and does not rely on surveys, experiments, or other empirical methods. The discussion focuses on numerical authority, catastrophic interpretation, all-or-nothing thinking, and the illusion of control. It also explains how fear of losing progress, perfectionism, exercise guilt, external rewards, and social comparison can increase anxiety. Repeated data checking, compensatory exercise, and avoidance of rest may give users short-term relief, but these behaviours can keep the anxiety active. Personal factors such as trait anxiety, health anxiety, body dissatisfaction, and low trust in bodily feelings may make some users more sensitive to tracker feedback. The paper argues that fitness data should be treated as reference information rather than a final judgment of health or self-discipline.
